Microphone and devices

Voice sessions need a current desktop or mobile browser with microphone access. If the mic check stalls:

• No permission prompt appeared. Look for a lock, camera, or microphone icon in the address bar and allow access there, then press Retry microphone. On iOS Safari, check Settings → Safari → Microphone.
• “No microphone found.” Plug one in, or pick the right input device in your operating-system sound settings, then retry.
• The level meter never moves. Your mic is probably muted, or the wrong input is selected. Fix that and recheck.
• You just don't want to speak out loud.Switch to Text. Your content is still scored — but delivery isn't, and a text session never moves your readiness band. We tell you this before you start.

Recording starts only when the session starts, never during the mic check. No employer can access your audio, and you can delete any recording afterwards.

How long things take

• Company research:usually under ten minutes for a fresh Blueprint. You can leave while it runs; we'll notify you. If it stalls, the loop says so and offers a retry — a failed run never costs you anything.
• Feedback: usually under 90 seconds after you finish. If it takes longer, the page says so rather than spinning silently, and offers a retry if the run actually failed. Your transcript is saved either way.

Readiness, in one paragraph

Readiness is tracked per round. “Ready” means your recent eligible practice consistently meets the round's rubric on fresh questions, with no dimension below the bar. Only full Realistic voice sessions are eligible: Coach sessions, text sessions, and sessions you ended early never move a band. Until you have one eligible session on a round, we show “Baseline not established” rather than a failing grade for work you haven't done.

Billing and refunds

• Sprint Passcovers one job and runs through your final interview date — or 60 days from purchase if you haven't entered a date. Add a date any time and it extends to your final round; if the company reschedules, edit the date and it extends again.
• Search Pass renews monthly. Cancelling takes two clicks and you keep access through the period you paid for.
• Trial Pass credit applies in full toward a Sprint Pass at checkout.

Your data

Export everything, delete an individual recording, or delete your account entirely from Settings → Your data. Nothing is ever shown or sold to employers. Details are in the privacy policy.
