Privacy policy
Effective July 11, 2026
Interview practice is personal. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the controls you have — in plain language.
Who we are
Interview100x (“we”, “us”) operates the interview-preparation service at interview100x.com. For anything in this policy, contact support@interview100x.com.
Information we collect
- Account data. Your email address and a password hash, or your Google sign-in identity. Admin access additionally requires two-factor authentication.
- Career materials you provide. Job postings (pasted, fetched from a URL you supply, or described by you) and your resume. These are used only to build your interview blueprint, gap map, plan, and personalized questions.
- Practice content.Session audio (voice sessions), transcripts, delivery metrics derived from your audio (such as pace and filler counts), the evaluator’s feedback, and your readiness history. Recordings exist so the product can evaluate your session and let you replay it; access to stored audio is through short-lived signed links.
- Billing data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your plan, purchase state, and Stripe references — never your card number.
- Product usage events.Analytics events such as “session started” carry identifiers and product state, never the content of your answers. Our analytics pipeline programmatically rejects events containing email addresses, phone numbers, or other direct identifiers in their properties.
- Technical logs. Standard operational logs (timestamps, request outcomes, error states) used to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To deliver the product: research your interview loop, generate your plan and questions, run practice sessions, evaluate them, and track readiness.
- To notify you when long-running work finishes or fails (email and in-app).
- To operate, secure, and debug the service, including fraud and abuse prevention and fair-use enforcement.
- To improve the product using aggregate, de-identified usage patterns.
What we never do
- We never show, sell, or report your data, scores, transcripts, or rankings to employers, recruiters, or data brokers. Nothing in the product is visible to the companies you interview with.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers inside the product.
- Your content is excluded from AI-vendor model training under our vendor agreements.
Service providers
We use a small set of processors to run the service, each limited to its function and bound by data-processing terms: cloud hosting and delivery (Vercel), database, storage, and authentication (Supabase), AI model access for research, interviewing, and evaluation (OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to), speech-to-text (Deepgram, Groq), real-time voice infrastructure (Vapi), payments (Stripe), transactional email (Resend), background job orchestration (Inngest), product analytics (PostHog), and — for building your blueprint — web search over public sources (Tavily) plus retrieval of the job postings and public pages involved (Firecrawl, Jina). We share with each provider only what its function requires.
Sharing you control
Contributing anonymized debrief data to improve blueprints for others is strictly opt-in and off by default. When you opt in, your identity is stripped, dates are fuzzed, and your employer’s name is redacted before anything enters the shared corpus. You can revoke this in settings, and future blueprint builds will exclude your data.
Deletion, export, and retention
- Per-session deletion.Delete any session’s recording from its feedback page; the audio objects and transcript turns are removed and existing signed links stop working.
- Export. Download your transcripts, feedback, and account data from settings at any time, as JSON or a printable report.
- Account deletion. Request deletion from settings. Your account is purged after a 7-day grace window (so an accidental request can be reversed by contacting support), and encrypted backups rotate out within 30 days.
- Retention. Otherwise we keep your data while your account is active, so your readiness history and practice material remain available to you.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest by our storage providers. Access to stored audio is via expiring signed URLs. Administrative access is allowlisted, requires two-factor authentication, and support actions on user accounts are audit-logged. No internet service can promise perfect security; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as required by law.
Age and eligibility
Interview100x is for professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify active account holders by email or in-product notice before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
